In this photo I played around with the blur filter. I duplicated the layer and blurred the top layer. I than set the opacity at 74% so part of the bottom layer would be shown through to show some of the details of the dog, Burt, but still look soft. It turned out pretty well. Without me even knowing what I was doing the colors on Burt turned more intense which I think looks a lot better than the original. I chose this photo of Burt to practice filters on because he was such a good subject. Also I figured the close up of his face would look good if I softened it up a bit.
