Background Filter #1

This photo started out as a simple white flower. To make the flower pop more from the background I lassoed the flower from the background and made a copy so I could change just the background. I first filtered the background with sumi-e and set the contrast really low. Than I used the filter sprayed strokes. The flower looked too different from the background so I used the filter spatter on the flower just to give it a smilier look as the background but still have it stand out. I choose to do this picture of a flower because the focus of the photo is already the flower and the background is already set up where it can easily be filtered.
